The Wine Merchant

The Wine Merchant is located near the heart of the historic downtown, The Wine Merchant has been an important part of Findlay’s business community for nearly a quarter of a century. New ownership and management in 2007 brought some welcome changes – an expanded layout for the many fine wines and beers carried; fresh ideas in how to share our products with the community, including weekly wine and beer tastings; and friendly, expert advice for all purchases, big and small.

Our goal at The Wine Merchant is to create a friendly, non-threatening environment where fine wines, beers and gourmet food items can be enjoyed by the community. By demystifying the wine buying experience, we hope to educate those willing to listen and learn. And for those who would rather just drink and enjoy – well, you’re more than welcome too.

The Wine Merchant holds weekly wine tastings every Friday and beer tastings every Saturday from 5-7 pm

Space is available for special tasting events for anywhere from one to one hundred guests.
